QUALITY PROGRAMS

With every action, procedure or investment we make, we are always striving for optimal improvements in quality of our products and services. The group uses several quality systems:
- All sites received the following certifications: IFS Higher Level (International Food Standard), BRC Grade A (British Retail Consortium) and ACS delivered by ISACert c/o, AIB Vinçotte/Integra.
- HACCP is designed to prevent the risk of product contamination by targeting the critical physical, chemical and bacteriological control points.
- The Pinguin organic vegetables and mixes are certified by Integra div .Blik and the Lutosa organic fries and potato products by Certisys.
- The GMP system certifies the quality of our by-products (used as livestock feed).
- Moreover, Lutosa follows the following quality programs:
- The 2 production sites are IS0-9001:2008 certified. This certification covers the elimination of non-conformities and the continual improvement of every process in the smallest detail.
- Applied Quality (a form of TQM) enables individual employees to speak out if they discover a problem in their everyday duties or if they wish to suggest improvements to an activity in which they are involved. The search for a solution to the problem or the review of suggestions for improvements is undertaken on a group basis according to a standard, predefined method.
- Topomanagement is the application of Total Quality to tools, machinery and equipment in order to improve their efficiency. At the same time, it aims to involve the operators to a greater extent by entrusting them with some aspects of maintaining their own equipment. This not only gives them an opportunity to optimise their skills, but also helps increase their work satisfaction.
- Total Quality Management is a system that generates corrective actions (reporting technical problems) and stimulates ideas to improve the manufacturing processes, work conditions and safety.
