PinguinLutosa foremost goal is to assure a permanent excellent level of production quality. This requires the application of strict procedures to control the freshness and quality of the raw products as well as efficient machinery and traceability control systems. The reach for excellence is presented by our PinguinLutosa quality control certificates (BRC, IFS, ACS, ISO9001:2008, etc.). The decrease of plaints is also a permanent objective that concerns all parts of the organisation.

At PinguinLutosa the amelioration of quality, traceability and food safety are the primary concerns.

Our objective: To implement all functions to satisfy the defined requirements of our clients while rigorously respecting the alimentary ethics. This follow-up of quality starts already before the raw material arrives to the factory. Not only do we select the plants and fertilizers, but we also follow the growth of the plantations all the way until they are mature.

Right after the arrival to the factory, the vegetables and potatoes are controlled for their variety, size, damages and dry matter (for crispiness of potato products) and reducing sugars (for colour of the potato).

We do not use GMO (Genetically modified organisms).

 

Each production site has its own laboratory. During the production process, the products are both physically inspected and tested for their chemical and bacteriological properties.

Belac accredits the laboratory on the Leuze site as conforming to Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005, which very few food companies are able to boast. Obviously, this enhances the credibility of the laboratory's test results.
