Our agronomical team is working very closely and efficiently together with the farmers making contracts containing all aspects about product quality and product growing (culitivation report per field). At the arrival of the raw material, the product is checked against specification and is getting its quality classification and its lot number, which will be followed up during the whole production flow. At this stage, our retraceability system is started.
The British team is in charge of the quality of the raw material in Norfolk and Lincolnshire regions. Together with the local farmers, the British team controls the vegetable plantations to ensure that the superior quality standards set up for the Pinguin vegetables are achieved. The short distance between the production sites and the plantations means a short time between harvests, processing and freezing of the products. This allows the finish products to maintain all the important nutritional values and the great taste of fresh vegetables.

Pinguin has a network of Chinese producers who have been selected by PinguinLutosa Foods Shanghai. The farmers are known for their respect for quality standards and the PinguinLutosa quality requirements. PinguinLutosa Foods Shanghai sells our frozen Western products in China (artichoke bottoms, wax beans, peas, baby carrots, Parisian carrots, Brussels sprouts, silverskin onions).
